Since we didn't observe Shabbat or Sabbath, we took today, as was planned, as a day of rest. Some of us stayed around the beautiful gardens of the Scots Hotel--while others went on adventures (some to Arbel, others to some of the sites we've already seen, and more to various places around Tiberias). Words that we used to describe today include: joy, brotherhood, remaining, earthy, righteousness, holy, awe, astonishment, and more.
We enjoyed our "last dessert" at Scots and are off to bed now to rest up for an early departure to Jerusalem. Tomorrow we will see Cesarea Maritima (by the sea--in contrast to Cesarea Philippi), Megiddo, and perhaps some other surprises along the way depending on our time.
Hopefully the internet connection will be reliable at our hotel in Jerusalem.
The peace of our Lord, Jesus Christ, be with you.
Hope the journey continues to be one of surprises and inspiration for all.
